Today I am talking styles from JC Penney. I am always looking to branch out my wardrobe a little. I had never done very much shopping here before, so it was fun to try something new. I wanted to select pieces that I wouldn’t normally wear, although I did stay in my usual blush tone color scheme.

Whenever I branch out to different styles, I like to keep it in my color scheme so that I am somewhat comfortable. Rarely will you see me wearing something completely out of the box. I slowly transition to styles that a not my usual go-to. I cannot remember the last time I wore a denim dress, and I don’t believe I have ever worn a t-shirt under a dress in this way, so it’s something new for me. I see it worn a lot, so I wanted to give it a try.

I have embraced the white slide on shoe more and more lately, and I really loved that these were an open toe version to the ones that I already own.

I wanted to incorporate my traditional roses and braid into this look, because I felt like it tied it all together and it feels more of my esthetic. I love the blush tones together.

I shot this look in Phoenix, and I loved this large pink building behind me, I wanted to shoot against it because I loved how perfectly it matched the color scheme already present in the outfit.

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed creating it. I had a lot of fun working with them, and sharing my favorite finds.
