Green has been the color of the moment for me, and slowly my wardrobe is transitioning from my blush pinks and blues to more emerald and bright greens, and yellows as I branch out and try new colors. Colors make me so happy, and they are a great form of expression. I fell in love with the bright bold lip and the vintage green dress with a simple topknot, and statement earrings. I love when simple pieces can be combined with more dramatic eye catching pieces, such as a bold lip or bold earring.  

Shooting this look in Charleston was such a fun day for me, and I felt this look felt right at home with the Southern Charm esthetic. Something about Charleston makes you want to play dress up, pick flowers, and enjoy life.

As far as the dress goes, I found it at a cute vintage shop downtime Phoenix, so it was difficult to find a lookalike, the best I could find was on ASOS.com

Something else I love about Charleston this time of year is the flowers, they are everywhere and they make everything seem brighter and happier.

I kept the shoes basic, I love the white slide shoe trend, and I bought these at target while I was there. They are sold out, but I found a similar style here. 

This top knot was an easy fix to the hot humidity in Charleston, I am wearing my Luxy hair extensions in “Ash Blonde” here, to make it look fuller.
