Hey Guys!

Today, I am sharing some details about this fun tennis court look, and how I have been mixing patterns and colors lately and having a little bit more fun with things. As far as mixing patterns, I don’t have any “rules” mostly because I don’t think there are very may rules for that. I think mixing patterns and prints is a great expression of creativity, depending on your style.

I will be the first to say that sometimes an outfit looks better in my head when I am planning it out than in real life, but its important to just have fun with it! Luckily, this outfit came together how I was hoping for. We had a lot of fun on this shoot, and the prework behind it was my favorite part. I love making the vision boards, getting samples, and ideas all written down prior to shooting. This was one of my favorite shoots… But to be honest any day where I don’t get kicked out for doing something I’m not supposed to is a good shoot! Haha!

I have been loving bolder prints lately, and bolder colors! I love a good high waisted acid wash jean, and the yellow top just all came together, and I decided to go for it. In my mind I imagined this really editorial look, and I was happy that it actually came out to be a nice balance of editorial and casual.

Recently, when I go shopping I try to find pieces I otherwise wouldn’t wear—- and it has been a lot of fun to push those creative boundaries.

I love finding unique pieces, like this camera purse. I think it adds something extra to an otherwise simple look. Let me know in the comments below what are your favorite patterns and prints to mix together! Thank you for reading!
